The Park House project recently won IA Awards on the local and national levels. Join us as Essential Light Design Studio takes a deeper dive to discuss project successes, pitfalls, hurdles and solutions. Every project is a journey. This one included adventures in warm-dim strategies as they relate to owner dimming expectations and budget; the challenge of over 100 decorative fixture types and coordinating these with the dimming system; the detailed coordination of using Ketra technology within an overall Crestron control system, only to have Ketra be bought by Lutron and all of that software integration taken off the table. In addition, we will discuss the pros & cons of zoomable fixtures for ever-changing art exhibits, pool/fountain lighting materials coordination, working with high-sheen and reflective finishes, integration of lighting in millwork (sometimes with windows at the back of the millwork), and programming for mood over the course of the late afternoon/sunset/dusk timeframe when the club sees heavy use of terraces that face east, and west, along with adjacent interior lounge spaces. We hope you will join us.
A link will be sent out the week of the meeting.
