Learn how to incorporate innovative tools for lighting into architectural design, and broaden your understanding on the fundamentals of lighting integration.

Learning objectives include:

  1. An understanding of available options when considering lighting within a space.
  2. To develop through a structured approach, a strategy for delivering light.
  3. To develop a working knowledge of integrated lighting details to support the strategy implementation.
  4. A review of relevant real-world examples.

Mitch Johnson is currently a Market Manager for Inter-lux and has been an integral part of their sales team for over 8 years. Inter-lux is a hybrid, multi-brand company that has a manufacturing facility in Baltimore, MD and also partners with international brands to be the sole supplier of their products in North America.
Prior to joining Inter-lux, Mitch was an architectural lighting designer in Washington, DC for nearly 10 years, specializing in commercial projects ranging from corporate tenant space, multi-family residential, hospitality, exterior/landscape, museums / cultural and government projects. His expertise in lighting ranges from design, engineering, manufacturing and implementation of intricate designs to ensure that the client’s vision is accentuated with light.
